pregnancy update

hi all!
i have decided to have the goal of blogging each wednesday - that way i keep my hand in, but also there is not the pressure to do more than i can.  so today is my first wednesday update!
i thought i would do a pregnancy one (coz i want to complain) and then a craft one (with stuff to show off!)

so complaining first.....(but first the preface that i am EXTREMELY happy, blessed and excited to be expecting the puglet)
however, i am sick of feeling sick, sick of vomiting and my new favourite, sick of not being able to sleep!  for some reason, i am falling asleep quickly and then waking up somewhere between midnight and 2am, and then not being able to get back to sleep until around 4am sometimes
i am so tired!  and so frustrated!

the mornings are then the hardest to get through, somehow the little human has not worked out that it would be great if he could get himself up, change his own nappy, dress and feed himself, and casually wake me up with a nice cup of tea at around 10am - he he (i am just running a little movie of him doing all that through my head!).

ok, i feel much better now - thank you for letting me vent!

on the very plus side, i have an obstetricians appointment next tuesday and so i will get all my results from the blood tests and get to see the puglet on the screen again - i love that technology!

and also on the plus side, the little human is definitely tuned into the fact that something is happening - he is talking about the 'bebe' a lot, and carrying around the doll that we bought him with such tenderness it makes me cry every time.  he always puts it down so gently and picks it up so carefully - amazing what they understand!

we're baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!

i know you're saying, where did you go!

well, it just FEELS like i've been away - in a lovely place called The Land of Illness
actually, its not very nice, i wouldn't recommend it :)

the little human has had a re-occurrence of his ear infection, ive had a kidney infection and hubby has had tonsillitis! we are all very much on the improve, but it hasn't been until today that the little human has gotten back into the hang of having his day time sleeps. apparently with an ear infection it really hurts to lie down, and so he got into a little habit of not wanting to do this (understandably). but now that he is better and running around like a crazy person again, he is getting tired, not sleeping, so getting more tired, so not sleeping.....ARGH!

but today - all is well. a very nice morning sleep, and he is sleeping now quietly and peacefully. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

ahh, he's so cute!

anyhoo, ill post some more about the craft things i have been up to in the meantime

the toy society - time to get orgainsed

i joined the toy society some time ago - random acts of kindness in soft toy form - winner!!!
but i haven't actually done anything about it yet, other than admire from afar.
so - crunch time
this friday night sew in will be dedicated to the toy society
i have a new book that i love - simple softies
so i think i will try some of these

off to buy some felt today with the little human - took him to the docs this morning and we both got anti-biotics - me for my throat and he for his ear infection (ahh can't wait til he can talk and say 'mummy my ear hurts' as opposed to AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR etc'

feeling sick :(

not much sewing has been done lately.  i have had a cold type thing for a week now, but the last 4 days has been a ridiculously annoying cough and a very silly voice.  it is freaking out the little human a bit, as i don't sound anything like usual.
last night for the first time in as long as i can remember, i sat and watched television without stitching anything!
i must be sick!
better rest up for friday night sew in!
